As mentioned in The Den we are currently undergoing a wide range of updates in service. Many of you have probably noticed that the voting pages are not currently available. With all of the updates going on we wanted to conserve our resources and decided not to spend time bringing the old voting system forward but, instead, concentrate on creating an entirely new system. While this is a significant task and depends on numerous updates across the entire site we wanted to share some of our plans with you.
Members will continue be able to submit games and bugs to the polling section for other Members to vote on but we are planning a new streamlined interface that should make everything a whole lot easier. In fact the whole process from beginning to end is being revamped giving Members the ability to submit topics, vote and view results with ease.
It's not just the interface that's getting reworked. We're also changing how votes are tallied as well. We know that many Member have issues with the old voting system, especially with the negative votes and we've been listening. We have taken your comments and suggestions to heart and including them in our plans. Now each month Members will be assigned a number of points that you can be spent any way you see fit amongst all the polling topics. It's up to you how you spend your points. You can spend them all on a single poll or divide them up between any number of topics. To recognize the contribution of our best supporters, you will be awarded more points the longer you are a Member. Remember, only Cedega Gaming Service Members get to cast their vote for what our developers focus on next.
That's not everything we're planning (we like to keep some things a surprise) but we hope that we have whetted your appetite for some of the changes you will be seeing.
