Record champions Bayern Munich have already secured € 74.19 million in Champions League prizes after the 16th round with a perfect preliminary round balance.
For the six wins from six group matches, Munich will receive an additional € 16.2 million after the € 15.25 million start bonus and an additional € 9.5 million for the Round of 16 qualifier.
The biggest revenue item, however, is EUR 33.24 million for placement in the club coefficient ranking of the European Football Union (UEFA): Bayern Munich receives 30 third party shares of EUR 1,108 million.
The other German participants also made a lot of money. Before Round 16, Borussia Dortmund comes to 59.23 million euros and RB Leipzig to 40.19 million euros. Bayer Leverkusen ended the Champions League season with € 37.27 million. In total, the Bundesliga teams earned € 210.88 million.
At the end of the season in the premiere, another rain of money awaits the Bundesliga quartet in the summer: distributions from the TV pool will result in another million.
