Erling Haaland made a dream start at Borussia Dortmund with goals in two mandatory games. For Christoph Freund, the head of at RB Salzburg, this is not a big surprise.

“It was not to be expected that Erling would score goals in the first two games at BVB,” Freund said in an interview with the “Sportbuzzer”: “But that he includes Dortmund, but doesn’t really surprise me, because his manner, his unbelievable will and his positive mentality stand because he writes extraordinary stories – he is one.

The head of described the Haaland change from Salzburg to Dortmund as “perhaps the most spectacular winter transfer in europe”.

BVB passes Haaland’s style of play. “You can see that it fits because BVB doesn’t have such a type of player in mind,” Said Freund, adding: “That’s probably why Erling decided for Dortmund. And I’m sure he’ll play a key role in the rack round.”

The Salzburg boss does not expect Haaland to be able to do so: “Of course, he has a good environment that looks closely at him and prevents him from ‘turning over’.

The youngster is not one “who is inclined to do so, but one who is ambitious, but also self-reflective”. Freund added: “If anyone can cope with being considered a great hope in Europe, despite his former 19 years, it is Erling.”

FC-Bayern-Flirt Adeyemi is not a Haaland replacement

In the interview ‘U’eralsoalso Freund also joined Salzburg jewel Karim Adeyemi. In the past, the German U-National player was also associated with a move to BVB or FC Bayern. The 18-year-old, however, has a gearing in ‘sterreich.

“In the next year and a half he will play a very important role with us, I am sure. He doesn’t play according to scheme F, he’s a real instinct fu-baller,” Sturker’s friend swarmed.

The head of does not see the youngster as a Haaland replacement. “Karim gets time, but the question is that he really has a lot of quality and extraordinary weapons. It has developed very well over the past year and a half.”
