Competition format
The 55 participating national teams were divided into ten groups of five or six teams for the next phase of the competition, which will be played between March and May.
The teams will play two matches (one to one) against each of the other teams in their qualifying group, the winner of each group and the top six runners-up qualifying for the final round of 16 teams, which will take place in London on 9 and 10 July.
The first edition of UEFA eEURO is the largest eFootball national team competition ever held. In November 2019, UEFA’s 55 national associations began their detection of the best Pro-Evolution Soccer (PES) players in their country. Many associations – some taking their first steps in the world of efootball – have organized online tournaments, national tours and internships, to allow players to be trained and evaluated by experts.
What does the winner win?
The winning team of eEURO 2020 will receive tickets for the UEFA EURO 2020 final as well as a financial prize.
