Austria’s European Championship opponents, the Netherlands and Ukraine, have announced their quarters during the final round.
While the ÖFB team resides in Seefeld, the Netherlands trains at the KNVB campus in Zeist near Utrecht. From there they will go to the games in Amsterdam.
The quarter of Ukraine is in Bucharest, where the team as well as the ÖFB will play two games.
The big nations France (Clairefontaine), Spain (Madrid), Germany (Herzogenaurach), Italy (Coverciano) and England (Burton upon Trent) each spend the European Championship at home thanks to home advantage.
ÖFB: Via Innsbruck to Bucharest and Amsterdam
Austria will travel via Innsbruck to the games in Bucharest and Amsterdam. The ÖFB selection is the exception among those nations that are not co-hosts. Croatia, the Czech Republic (both in Scotland), Finland (St. Petersburg), Poland, Sweden (both Ireland), Portugal (Budapest), Turkey, Wales (both Baku) and Switzerland (Rome) have booked in places where they can travel from a short distance to two of three group games.
Only the Belgians, who compete in St. Petersburg and Copenhagen, as well as world champions France, who play their group games in Munich and Budapest, also stay at home.
