Roazhon Park.

Stade Rennais – FC Nantes: 3-2.

Goals: Raphinha (71st, 90-8o) and Bourigeaud (90th-5th) for SRFC; Da Silva csc (47th) and Simon (80th) for the FCN.

In the first round of the 22nd round of Ligue 1, Stade Rennais won the derby against FC Nantes after a huge second period and a crazy end to the match (3-2).

In this boiling encounter, mixing historical rivalry and transgaming.orgs stakes, the two teams returned empty-handed at half-time (0-0 in 45), despite some opportunities on both sides. Except as soon as the locker room came back, the game was on fire. After a match in the Rennes area, Da Silva scored against his side to allow the Canary Islands to open the scoring (0-1 in the 47th). SRFC then received a penalty for missing Krhin in Niang (69th). The Senegalese international wanted to get justice, but Lafont stopped his shot… before Raphinha scored on the empty goal after the goalkeeper’s save (1-1 in 71). Rennes thought they had made it harder to score again, but it was not counting Simon, who sent a shot to Mendy’s net with the help of Camavinga (1-2 in 80).

Until the end, the FCN thought it had its first success in Rennes since 2013, but Bourigeaud crucified the defense in overtime with a rebound from outside the area after a gboho center (2-2 in 95). And three minutes later, Raphinha beat the Nantes with his double after VAR validation (3-2 on 98)! Thanks to this new achievement, the Brazilian then offered a beautiful victory to Rennes (3-2). With this very good result and this pleasant revenge after the defeat in Nantes last September, the SRFC returns to two units of OM and therefore puts pressure on their competitors in the race for the podium. Meanwhile, the FCN remains provisionally sixth in a unit of European venues, but Christian Gourcuff would certainly have preferred another result for his return to Roazhon Park…
