The road to the final phase of the UEFA 2022 Futsal Euro and its new format in the Netherlands began on 29 January with a qualification.

- The group winners are directly qualified for the group qualifying phase (played at home and away in 2021), joining the 16 teams that are qualified for office: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Portugal (holding), Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine
- The top nine runners-up and top five thirds (not counting the results against the teams that finished in fourth place) qualified for the play-offs in April and will compete for the last seven spots for the groups.
