Real Sociedad San Sebastian: More than just Martin Odegaard

Real Sociedad is currently shaking up the Spanish league and is in fourth place ahead of teams such as Atletico Madrid (7th) or CL round with 16 finalist FC Valencia (8th).

Martin Odegaard has a big part in this. The Norwegian, who is still only 20 years old, has played so far and, after 14 games, has scored three goals and four assists. To reduce the third best offensive in the Primera Division only to the loan from Real Madrid would be too short.

On the one hand there is still top scorer Willian Jose (7 goals), on the other side with Mikel Oyarzabal spinning another great talent in the offensive outside the posts. The young Spaniard (22) also apparently did Pep Guardiola, Oyarzabal being brought into play several times as a possible successor to Leroy Sane.

And then there is Alexander Isaac. The ex-BVB tip comes mostly from the bank, but has already registered 16 appearances and also clicked twice.

Ultimately, it's a working structure like Gerard Pique and Co. have to deal with today. It is led by Martin Odegaard, carried by several top-level players.
